Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy applies to the Clash Client Download Center pages available at clashsystem.com. The site provides client information, download links, configuration references, and troubleshooting documentation. The sections below explain what data may be generated during visits, why it is processed, and what controls visitors can use.

1. Scope of Data Collection

This site uses a static page structure and does not offer account registration, comments, online payments, or email subscriptions. Visitors can read pages and use site navigation without providing a name, email address, phone number, or other identifying details. The site does not create user profiles through forms or ask visitors to upload Clash configuration files, subscription URLs, node information, or runtime logs.

As with ordinary website visits, the server may generate necessary technical records when responding to requests, including the access time, requested page, browser type, operating system, referring page, network address, and request status. This information helps keep the site available, identify unusual requests, analyze page errors, and troubleshoot service issues. It is not used to determine a visitor’s proxy configuration or the content of their network activity.

2. Analytics and Its Purpose

This site uses a self-hosted analytics tool to understand overall page usage. Metrics may include visit counts, page navigation order, device category, screen size, referral channel, and approximate region. The results help assess whether download platform links are easy to find, whether tutorial sections are accessible, and whether mobile pages have display issues.

Analytics data is used to operate the site and improve its content. It is not used to build identifiable interest profiles or sell personal information. If content blocking is enabled, relevant cookies are disabled, or script execution is restricted, analytics may not work; static content, internal links, and basic download pages remain available.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Normal access to this site does not require login cookies. Depending on its deployment settings, the analytics tool may use first-party cookies to distinguish repeat visits, prevent a single browsing session from being counted repeatedly, and record necessary visit state. This data is used only for site analytics and does not provide cross-site advertising tracking.

This site does not currently use localStorage to persist names, email addresses, subscription links, proxy nodes, or configuration files. The browser itself may retain web caches, browsing history, and download records, which are managed by the visitor’s device and browser. Visitors can clear cookies, site data, and cached files in their browser privacy settings, or use a browsing mode that restricts scripts or storage.

4. Download Links and Third-Party Websites

Some pages link to app stores, official client websites, or other pages operated by independent entities. After leaving this site, the destination may handle access records, account information, or store transaction data under its own policies; those practices are outside this policy’s control. Before opening an external link, check the browser address bar and the destination page’s privacy notice.

Before downloading a client, verify the operating system, processor architecture, client name, and file extension shown on the download page. If the system requests permissions during installation, assess them in light of the client’s features and the prompts displayed by your operating system. If a third-party site changes its address, service terms, or data practices, this site will update the relevant information when it becomes aware of the change, but cannot make ongoing commitments on the third party’s behalf.

5. Data Security and Retention

This site processes technical data only to the extent needed to deliver pages, maintain services, and summarize access trends. Server records and analytics data are subject to access controls and periodic cleanup based on operational needs. Access is limited to the site operation, troubleshooting, and security maintenance activities that require it.

Internet transmission and end-user environments involve inherent risks. Visitors should carefully manage their subscription URLs, configuration files, access credentials, and device permissions. Do not submit content containing private nodes, authentication details, or personal network rules to public pages, public code repositories, or unfamiliar third-party services.

6. Policy Updates and Feedback

This policy may be revised when analytics methods, page features, or applicable rules change. Updated text will be published on this page, and the last-updated month at the top of the page will be changed accordingly. Significant changes to the scope of data processing will be accompanied by necessary information near the relevant feature.

For information about site features, downloading, or configuration steps, visit FAQ or the User Guide. This site does not collect the identity of people who submit feedback through this page; before sending a question, remove subscription URLs, node credentials, complete configurations, and other sensitive content.
